New Waverly ISD is sharing this information about the district and your child’s campus with you as part of its obligations under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA). 2020-2021 Federal Report Cards for the state, the district, and each of the district’s campuses are now available on the district’s website at this link: https://www.new-waverly.k12.tx.us/page/district-accountability or they are also available on the Texas Education Agency’s website at: https://tea.texas.gov/Finance_and_Grants/Grants/Federal_Report_Card/.
If you have difficulty accessing the information from the website, hard copies of the reports are available at the district or campus office. NWISD has cancelled classes for Friday, Feb 4. Newest weather models suggest we could have potentially dangerous conditions due to icing. We will not have to make this day up. We will return to class on Monday. After school activities are cancelled for today.
NWISD is continuing to monitor weather conditions. We have met with county officials and are part of direct weather briefings. Locally we are not expected to have ice problems. We plan to have school Thursday & Friday but will continue to monitor and notify you of any changes.

Good evening. The final unofficial results are in. The bond issue was approved by voters 304-221. Thank you for all who voted. The district pledges to keep you updated as we move into the next stage!!

TONIGHT! Our Lady Bulldog Volleyball team begins playoff action against Brazos High School. The game is scheduled for 7:00 pm @ Magnolia West High School. Good luck as they begin the playoffs!

NWISD Transportation Department has notified us that busses 12 and 55 may experience delays in dropping off students. There are powerline problems on FM 1374 near Burger King.
